Also, I was introduced to a great tool that's been really helpful in my personal life and work. Some of you may already have it, but it's called Dropbox and it's extremely useful in accessing documents, pictures and other files from multiple computers. It allows you to backup files, share them and transport them without a problem. If you sign up using the link provided, you (and I) will be also get a little bit more storage than if you sign up by going there yourself.

Social Work Blogs is a team of few, and with that comes some uncertainty. As regular visitors may have noticed, we are a bit behind in updating and adding any new blogs (though there are some coming!). For this, apologies are offered. I will be making time in the near future to sort through things and update the site a bit for all concerned.

Many bloggers have probably heard of the concept of a blog Carnival, but just to clarify, it is a sort of online magazine on a specific theme which is made up of contributions from those who blog on that theme. The carnival is generally hosted by different blogs each month and provides links to each.
I am looking to get a social work blog carnival going. I am thinking that I'll leave the theme of the first edition open in order to solicit more interest. It should be related to social work, but doesn't necessarily need to be by a social worker. It can be from a child and youth care worker, addictions treatment, research, etc. As long as it relates to social work and/or the helping process.
