A Few New Blogs and an Offer

Here are a few new blogs that have maybe been around, but I've recently discovered.

Social Work World Blog
Social (Over)worker
ladybird, ladybird fly away home

Also, I was introduced to a great tool that's been really helpful in my personal life and work. Some of you may already have it, but it's called Dropbox and it's extremely useful in accessing documents, pictures and other files from multiple computers. It allows you to backup files, share them and transport them without a problem. If you sign up using the link provided, you (and I) will be also get a little bit more storage than if you sign up by going there yourself.

Give it a shot today and let me know how you like it! HERE IS THE LINK.

As always, if you know of any blogs that are out there, but not listed here, please let me know and I'll get them up as soon as possible.

Hi, I'm Fareez from Do No Harm (www.fareez.com), blogging about social work in Singapore. Our team from the Singapore Association of Social Workers has created an online blog magazine to showcase articles and reflections of Singaporean social workers. Do check it out at www.social-dimension.com. Thanks for your good work and efforts at maintaining this blog! I look forward to being linked to other social work blogs in the future!

Just discovered you and the treasure trove of blogs you're promoting; thanks for your good work! I work in child welfare and write (fairly regularly!) reflections on the Christian Scripture and social work. My site honors Saint Louise de Marillac, patron saint of social workers. Please feel free to share my link with others if you feel it is appropriate for your site. Thank you! Dennis www.saint-louise.com or www.socialworkerblog.com

I would be honored if you would add a link for Socialworkhelper.com to your blog. I would be over the moon, if you decided to write a review on your blog about the network.

Socialworkhelper.com is a free social networking community created exclusively for social work, social care, and human service professionals and students. I created Socialworkhelper.com to connect people in our profession from around the globe into one online community in order to increase collaboration, engagement, and support for one another. Additionally, you can create groups, forums, events, blogs or import blogs, upload photos, create forums, keep up with birthdays, and not lose the things you love about other social networks.

Use the Socialworkhelper.com join or sign in page links. Connect your website or blogs in order to host forum discussions, chats and/or create groups for your social work, social care or human service users for FREE!

This site aims to combine all of your social networking tools in one place without the headaches of other sites. This network offers enhanced privacy, increased security, and controlled memberships in order to prevent being bombarded by advertisements, viruses, and spam. This networking community is fully integratable with your other social networks which means when you update your status in Socialworkhelper.com it can also be updated in Twitter and Facebook. It's also smartphone and Mac compatible, so you can network with workers on the go!

Thank You
